Adeline's 11 Month Birthday!

As this trip goes on we are slowing way down. We have decided that a two week vacation would probably be the most we ever do again for a while (we will have been gone 25 nights in all!) We are getting tired and are feeling like we need a vacation from this vacation! But these slow days are really helping. Oslo is pretty spread out and there aren't really any historic or "touristy" areas to walk, so we took a "jammie drive" this morning. We stayed in our jammies, filled our travel mug with coffee, and drove around town. And just as we suspected, Oslo is much more business focused than tourism focused, which is totally fine! It's actually a really cool, modern city. I think it would be a fun place to live.

After our morning drive we headed home for Adeline's nap. We loved the Mathallen a couple days ago so decided to go back and try a couple new food options for lunch. We got a vegetarian sandwich from one food stand, and mushroom ravioli from another. We ate it back at the same "pub" that we ate at the other day. On our way we tried getting some pictures of Adeline in the snow, but she was not having it. At. All.

By the time we were done it was time for Adeline's nap (what a nice life to eat and sleep so much!). While Adeline napped Will ventured off to see a brewery he wanted to visit. Schous Bryggeri was founded in 1827. Along the way he passed a lot of small hipster shops, kind of like a Nordic Hennepin Avenue. While at Schous he chatted with Coby and Andy. They said that it's hard to make friends with Norwegians. Also that their tips charged on credit cards are taxed 70%!

So hygge! I'm kind jelly I didn't get to go, too!

Will came home and we had the last of the pasta leftovers and some bubbles, and Adeline got in lots of wiggles. Tomorrow we were off for our next destination!
