*Guest post from Will*
I spent all day at the hotel processing the pods I collected
from each tree. The pods were dry from having been spread out in the sun on my
hotel patio, and I used a pliers to crack open the pods to obtain the oilseed
inside; the shells I threw into the trash. Most of the time this went well,
with many a podcast keeping my mind moving, though about 5% of the time I would
find bugs or maggots inside the pod, which was always a rather unfortunate and
unwelcome surprise.
