Took a “day off” and took the hotel shuttle to the beachside cabana that the hotel owns and operates. While there, I caught up on emails, wrote up details from Australia work, and planned out the remainder of my time in Mauritius. Also, I signed up for the complimentary snorkel trip: they drove us out in the cabana boat, gave us snorkel gear and told us to have fun. There were similar numbers and varieties of fish compared to Hawai`i, but far better coral formations, and altogether a phenomenal time.
