From Land to Sea

Today was a day I was especially looking forward to during Mom's visit! Will bought us tickets to go on a dinner boat cruise off Waikiki!

We started the day off a little lazy by sleeping in and making a trip to Costco. We came home and got ready for an adventurous afternoon and evening! We took Mom on one of my favorite drives on Oahu, along the eastern shoreline.

We headed east and made our first stop at Koko Head.

We continued along the highway and stopped at some of the lookouts.

Sandy Beach - Or someday soon we may refer to this beach as Obama Beach!
We made it up to the Makapu'u Lookout!

And then we went down to explore around Makapu'u beach.

Next on the list was the Pali Lookout. We made a stop at the scenic overlook on the way.

And then the Pali Lookout! It was quite pleasant up there and for once I didn't feel like I was going to get blown of the cliff!

Will had to go exploring.

Despite the falling rocks sign! Ugh, he never listens! hehe
After an afternoon of scenery on land, it was time to head toward the dock for our boat cruise! It unfortunately started to rain quite a bit toward the end, but it was beautiful for most of the cruise and it was a fun little adventure to be out on the water in the rain and cozy up inside.

The catamaran.

This was a picture I accidentally took, but I thought it turned out to be kinda neat!

Cheers! We're on a boat!

In the harbor, headed out to sea.

Relaxing on the net.

Beautiful Diamond Head

Waikiki

Driving the boat, on our way to Tahiti! haha

Goofing around

Beautiful sunset!

And then it got dark and rainy and my pictures didn't really turn out. It was another fun day in paradise!
