A Sunny Rooftop Day
Saturday morning Meredith and I went to a class at Pure Barre while David went to his gym and Will was on his way from Florida. We met back at home, got cleaned up, and picked from a list of Chicago's top rooftops to try out - the IO Urban Roofscape at the Godfrey Hotel. It was fun to get a different perspective on the city.
Then we walked down the street to try out Kerryman Irish Bar and enjoy their cozy outdoor patio area.
We were all getting hungry, so we made a stop by Trader Joe's to get some goods for grilling.
When we got home Meredith noticed that Pookers' eye looked a little different. She and I rushed Pookers to the emergency vet down the street and they ran some tests. Turns out the poor little guy had high blood pressure. He had to spend the night at the vet, but luckily came home just fine the next afternoon!
Mere and I came home and despite Pookers' absence, we enjoyed a beautiful night on the Foster's back deck.
