A Busy Week!
We have been up to quite a lot this week!
We went into the city to have Dim Sum at a Chinese restaurant with Hawley's friends and family. It was nice to spend more time with her California contingency!

Hawley made us enchiladas! It was lovely to have a homemade meal in my kitchen that is a little different than what Will and I typically make! And the best part is that with the leftovers she made us tortilla soup to put in the freezer for a ready-made dinner later on.
Tuesday, April 16 - Wednesday, April 17
Jim and Hawley took some time to do things on their own, and allow Will and I to keep to a somewhat regular schedule since we both still had to work. Hawley made us spaghetti dinner on Wednesday, and during the week we've played a lot of boardgames like Sequence and Clue!

Remember when I raved about the dinner that Will, Margaretta, and I had at Burma Superstar during her visit here? Well, of course we had to let Will's parents in on the goodness as well! So tonight we put in our time waiting outside (only about forty-five minutes this time!) and had one of the best dinners ever! Again! Will's parents agreed!

Will was able to get the day off work, but I had to stick to my regular schedule. Before I headed into work we stopped for a quick lunch at The Olde Depot down the street from Will's office. The three of them dropped me off at work before they headed back to Will's office so Jim and Hawley could check out the place. Then they went and explored Treasure Island including the history there from the Pacific War and a winery tasting room at a former brig of a naval base.
Later that night I met the three of them at The Lake Chalet on Lake Merrit for some drinks and appetizers.
From there we went to the Loring Cafe here in Oakland so that Will's parents could see the new location of our beloved Loring Pasta Bar from Minneapolis!
We had a lovely evening to end our busy week and we were able to plan our last few days together over delicious food.
