Sunday Funday!
NFL football has begun! And now that we are in Hawai'i the games are even earlier than when we were in Cali! This morning's Bears game was at 7am. Needless to say, we caved and bought the NFL Sunday Ticket online streaming so that we wouldn't have to be at a bar week after week at 6:30am. This way we can stay in our jammies and enjoy the games at home!
After a disappointing morning for hubbies, it was time to do a little gardening! Yesterday we went to Lowes to get supplies and today we worked on putting our railing boxes together. We still have to decide where the herbs will go, we want them to be nice and sunny, but they are all set!
I haven't posted any pictures of the outside of our cottage yet since there has still been remodeling construction. However, it is getting close to finished and now with our flowers things are starting to come together outside! Eventually we will have garage doors on the carports and one will be ours while the other will be for the front house. There will also be a table and chairs under the pergola (seen above) once the grass grows in a little more; grow grass, grow!
But even with a few more things that need to get taken care of, we really love our cottage and are so grateful for four walls of our own!
After planting flowers and lunch it was time to cool off at the pool! The front house where our landlady lives has a pool and sometimes when she is gone for the day she allows us to use it. It's essentially right in her front yard and from the pool you can see right into the living room, so we're right in her space if we use it when she's there. She is so sweet to let us use it!
And now we are ready for what is sure to be a busy next few weeks with meetings, dinners, Will's colleagues coming in to town, and in a couple of weeks my mom will visit! yay!
