Happy Fourth of July?
There doesn't seem to be a whole lot to celebrate this year, but we can be hopeful for what may come. We spent the morning scootering along the Waterfront today and had a fun Facetime call during Adeline's nap.
A Tough Day
Today was a tough day for the little keiki. For whatever reason she just didn't want to nap in her crib, and instead needed to be rocked in the rocking chair. She wasn't hungry, wasn't sick, and doesn't even have a tooth coming through yet. I guess she just needed some Mama cuddles. Though I missed having my "break" to do things like shower, eat, ya know, no big deal, I reminded myself that someday in the not-so-distant future I'll be longing for these days of holding her in my arms while she sleeps. So, we enjoyed a very slow paced day around the house filled with snuggles. In between the rocking chair naps we did get in a little fun playtime though!
