Play-Doh Fun!

In the order of toys I placed a while back, I got Adeline a set of play-doh and tools. I tucked it away for when we were getting desperate for a new toy and this morning we brought it out! Adeline loved it and it kept us busy for an hour and a half!




We had some nice quiet play time this morning, so this afternoon called for bouncing and jumping around!

We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends in our lives. We were invited to the wedding of two dear friends, JJ and Ashley, which was happening in Minneapolis. We decided to make a week of it and see our wonderful friends. Friday and Saturday nights we stayed with our friends Sean and Kiri. Happy Anniversary!

What better way spending our anniversary than playing at the UC Berkeley campus?! There's a perfect spot for picnics and petting bears. Adeline looks like she's roaring in this picture! We found a great pile of fresh woodchips for climbing! Made it to the top!  To truly celebrate we ordered take out from Millennium restaurant, a vegan restaurant here in our neighborhood. It was delish!

"Vacation" on the North Shore

Will's been working loooong hours lately, even on the weekends, and he recently got a couple of big deadlines met, so it was time to do a little relaxing. We took the day to play around on the North Shore. After breakfast at home we headed toward Haleiwa. We wanted to shop around for a few decorations for our new home and have some lunch. We found a couple of great pictures for our living room and had lunch at Bonzai Sushi. Will had been there before, but it was a first for me. After lunch we made our way up to Waimea Bay, a very popular beach and winter surf spot that we had never been to before. It's been a crazy hot summer so it was great to get out to the beach. Off to the west side of the beach there is a big rock that people jump from. Will went over to partake in that. While Will was rock jumping, I enjoyed a beach beer . . . that was made it Monroe, Wisconsin! Will made his way back to me, phew! We enjoyed the people watching and watching this guy kit...
