Living That Farm Life
Today we visited Lemos Farms in Half Moon Bay! We were invited to a private party by the law firm that TerViva has been working where we got to enjoy breakfast, lunch, crafts, and admission to the farm. After a muffin and coffee we were off to the pony rides! We thought Adeline might just want to watch but turns out she really wanted to ride one too!
After watching the other kids it was finally Adeline's turn! She got to ride on Snickers. I had all the Mama feels handing my baby over to ride on a pony!! eeek! The boys were so nice though and held on to her so nicely.
The boy stepped just out of view for a moment so I could get this picture and my heart dropped!
Adeline had such a big smile the whole time and even waved and said Mama and Papa to us on her ride. Where is my baby?! I'm glad she had fun but I was so relieved when the boy handed her back to Will!
Next we got to feed the goats! I didn't get to take a picture of it but there was a sign that read "Do no pick up the baby goats." LOL, what must have happened that they had to put up that sign?!
Then Adeline was "Hunnry" so we stopped for a snack.
We took the snack on the road to look at the "pool." It's hard to see in the pictures but there was a little pond with some fountains. This girl loves water!
While we were waiting in line for the train we found the Sikkas and got to ride with them!
Adeline found some pumpkins to play in!
We ate a quick veggie burger lunch in the private party area before we headed home. Adeline slept for an hour and a half so we just drove around and decided to stop at REI. Will needed a headlamp and apparently Adeline needed a new hat. I saw this one and thought it was soft so put it on her head. She checked herself out and then said "no," shook her head and gave it back to me. I put it back on the shelf and next thing I know she picked up a different one, gave it to Will to put on her, and walked all around the store with it on and wouldn't take it off!
After REI we stopped at Westbrae Biergarten a few blocks away for a beer and Adeline had some more snacks. She has also learned how to say "ice" so now we sing "ice ice baby" because she knows those words! She and Will had fun playing before we loaded up in the car to head home.
We had such a fun day out and about but it was fun to settle in back home. Here she is cleaning her kitchen at home in her new hat.
Today was such a fun Fall day!
