You may or may not remember that when we had our flight from Honolulu to Oakland last April for our move there was a bit of a "snafu," to put it lightly (but I don't feel like reminiscing about that so let's continue on). As a result, Alaska Airlines gave us each a credit toward another flight. It wasn't a big enough credit to go anywhere too far, but for a flight to LA we could go for free
and get first class seats! So we decided to use the vouchers for flights to LA to visit our dear friends Katie and Alex. The flights were easier than to Hawai`i, being that they were only about 45 minutes and we had first class seats. I was able to rock Adeline for her nap in my carrier since the seats were so spacious and we were in the first row. She slept almost the whole time both ways but man was it hard on my legs and back! Will was a great assistant as always!

When we arrived at our AirBnB in LA Alex and Katie were there to welcome us! They were so wonderful to have pre-stocked the fridge with groceries for us! The trip truly felt like a vacation with their help and company!

Alex had packed along his purple striped shirt so he changed into it to match Adeline! |

A little shy, but no tears! |
On Saturday we went on a little drive to see this cool tile house! They have covered almost all of it inside and out with tiles, and are still working on it. We only saw it from the front because they wanted $20 a person for a tour.
That afternoon we wandered around Venice Beach near our AirBnb. It was quite an interesting scene! But mostly we just hung around with Katie and Alex. We had a lot of yummy meals, good laughs, and played fun games at the kitchen table. We can't wait to see them again soon!
Adeline was so happy to see the girls again once we got home!
