Napa Baby!

It's been since our Scandinavian trip since Adeline and I have been outside of our little bubble. Now that Adeline is healthy again we headed up to Napa to pick up our last two shipments of wine from Tudal. It was chilly and a little overcast, but still a beautiful day. We headed up during Adeline's first nap and arrived at Tudal for a little tasting and most importantly to scruff Sadie!

For lunch we went to Hydro Grill in Calistoga. It was recommended by the people at Tudal, but I have to say I was not impressed, and neither was Adeline so we had to make it a quick lunch at get going!

Will had been in Calistoga recently for an offsite and had driven to Castello di Amorosa and wanted to take us there. It's a castle that was taken apart in Tuscany and rebuilt in Calistoga. I can't imagine how much work that was! The grounds are beautiful and complete with a small farm which Adeline loved. It makes us excited to take her to the zoo soon!

We went inside to do tasting but it was crazy busy and more like Disneyland than a little winery, so we left. I needed to use the ladies' room though before we headed home so we made a last stop at Twomey Winery just down the street. It was exactly the kind of place I needed to visit after this last castle winery! It was a small little tasting room with a beautiful lawn that I can't wait to play on with Adeline while sipping some wine. We even got to keep a wine glass with our tasting! We hit the road for home and reflected on our amazing day in Napa!
