I Love You, California!

Today was a day of play at home. We started with breakfast and playing in the sink. Followed by Yo-Yo with beads on a string. And wrapped up the day with an evening of puzzles!

Adeline loves getting all wrapped up after a good pool sesh. This was from yesterday. Today we went out and Adeline "jumped like a seal!"  

Adeline loves the fountain at Piedmont Park. She doesn't like that she's not allowed to play in it, but it's still fun to watch!  

 Today we went for a little scootering, hiking, and snacking with a view!

We're fortunate to have a nice park that is still open for us to play in! There's a Japanese Tea Garden with beautiful landscaping that is so fun to explore. It's like being in the jungle! When we can't get outside then one of our favorite things to do is read books!  

Adeline has recently discovered marshmallows and is in love. Who can blame her? She gets "one for each hand" each day.   JT's "Can't Stop the Feeling" is on repeat around here lately! Here's a snippet from tonight's dance party.

For preschool Adeline needs a picture for labeling her cubby and file. I've been trying to get an updated picture but can't seem to get a good one. I love these but Will says they're too sassy! We'll see if I can come up with anything better!

The mornings have been cool and cloudy, but the afternoons have been bright and sunny! And the pool is finally all cleaned up from having been a swamp for months. A dip in the pool has become our go to activity for the afternoons.
