Goldfish!

Image
Grandma Sally and Grandpa Dado sent Adeline a new container for her Goldfish and it's a hit!

Scootering in Piedmont

Image
Today we had a socially distant play date with Penny in Piedmont. After Penny headed for home Adeline was off to the races at the Japanese Tea Garden. We attempted a picnic but she just ran up and down the hill instead!

Taste Testing!

Image
TerViva is working on some pongamia food products like salad dressing, creamer, and mayo, so Adeline got to do a little taste testing today! Will and Adeline finished off the night with some kettle bells!

Urban Jungle

Image
Since very few people are riding on BART these days, the commuter lot at the BART station has been pretty much empty, allowing for the toddler scooter and teenage skateboard crews to take over! We've been going occasionally in the morning for a scoot. It's also fun when the train goes over head!

Those Baby Blues

She's still got them! And nothing like fresh Wisconsin cheese curds for a morning snack. This afternoon Will met some co-workers at the lake for a distanced happy hour, so Adeline and I tagged along for some scootering!

Happy Father's Day!

Image
For Father's Day I planned a little joint celebration with our friends in SF who we hadn't seen since January! We had a socially distant morning at the beach and we all had the best time. It was totally freezing and overcast in Pacifica, but that didn't stop us from splashing and building sand castles! Our amazing friend Paola took this photo! Nothing like getting all bundled up to keep warm after a day at the beach!

Juneteenth Celebrations

Image
I am so proud of Pivot for recognizing Juneteenth as a company holiday this year! It couldn't have come at a better time either; we really just needed a day! TerViva doesn't recognize it yet, but Will took the day off and we went on an adventure! We hadn't been to San Francisco in a long time, and Adeline has been talking about how she crossed the Golden Gate Bridge when she was a teeny tiny baby, so we thought we'd go on a little drive in her newly positioned car seat and drive across some bridges with a stop at the beach! The day started with rocking Big Doggie George. Adeline has a couple of favorite songs, and two of them are from Frozen 2 and she can even sing along! We certainly play our fair share of Disney Plus around here, but we also have the songs playing on loop quite frequently! She requested her favorites in the car and sang along! She got a little shy when the camera came out, but you get the idea! What a life this girl has! We ...

Big Girl Carseat!

Today we switched Adeline's carseat so that she can face forward! It's such a fun change and Adeline is loving it. Apparently it feels like a rollercoaster ride (good thing since we won't be going to any amusement parks for a long time)! We finished dinner on the early side so we went for a little drive to the scenic overlook. It's the little things these days! Look, Mom! No hands!

Ain't No Stopping Them!

We met up this morning for a socially distanced scoot and hike. The girls were just too cute on their scooters! We also celebrated P's birthday that was a few days ago. Giving P her preserent! (A popsicle mold and recipe book. P loves her popsicles!) I mean, come on! How cute are they?! On the way to the park to scooter and hike we saw that the area goats were corralled up at the top of the hill. We had brought them up in conversation and Adeline insisted that we stop and see the goats on our way home! And of course what's Sunday without tummy comics!
