I Love You, California!

Sleeping like a little angel. Big girl is starting to take a lot more naps in her crib these days!

Just can't get enough of this little girl! And she loves her new bunny!

We are absolutely loving being back in California, along with this beautiful apartment, balcony, and view that we have. Can you blame us?! Even Adeline loves it, and loves watching outside while she plays in her new activity center!

Since we had a pretty adventurous day last week for Will's birthday, I planned a little more low-key, relaxed day for Father's Day. We started with banana bread and fruit for breakfast before we hit the road to stroll around the Lafayette Reservoir. It was a beautiful day! After the three mile stroll around the reservoir we set up for a picnic. A few minutes later we had to move to a different picnic area because a family started setting sticks in the grill there behind Will for a BBQ, and I did NOT want to get smoked, especially with the baby! So we found a much more peaceful area for our picnic. After our picnic we packed up to come home and shower up before a delicious dinner at Rikyu, our local sushi place that holds up pretty well to our favorites in Hawai`i! Happy Father's Day to a wonderful Papa!!

Our friends in our apartment building are moving to Colorado. Though we're so happy and excited for their next adventure, we're sad to see them go. This afternoon they had a great BBQ out at the pool and we got to try Adeline's carrier now that she's just about big enough to face outward (She didn't like facing in so much. Girl's gotta be able to see what's going on!) She did great in her carrier and loved being part of the action.

By now you may have realized that Adeline's spirit animal is a bunny. Well, Auntie Mere recently went to Paris for work (lucky girl!!) and brought back Adeline the sweetest gift: this adorable, soft, luxurious bunny that has the beautiful chime sound when you move it, along with some wonderful Avene products just for baby!
