Whale Watching in Waikiki
Tonight we got out on the water for our long awaited whale watching tour! The night was overcast and slightly chilly, but we got a spectacular show. We were able to spot a pod of whales. We're pretty sure it was a mom, dad, and baby. They spent quite a while splashing their tails, arching their backs, and jumping out of the water! This type of show is not common off the shores of Oahu, so we really lucked out. To top it off, once it was getting dark we had to head into dock, and as we started to pick up the pace a pod of spinner dolphins swam along the bow of our boat, playing and swimming with us! After the tour we stopped by Aloha Brewing company to check out their new location. It was a great night together after being so busy for the past few weeks. Will even caught a couple of the jumps and splashes on video.
